THE Chama Chile Ski Classic!

.........FAST, FAMILY, FUN!

Northern New Mexico's premiere winter event, the Chama Chile Ski Classic and Winter Fiesta features freestyle and classic cross-country ski races, a snowshoe race, a fat tire snowbike race and a rookie race, for all ages and abilities.

The racecourse includes part of the historic Cumbres & Toltec Scenic RR tracks and is located in the south San Juan Mountains, north of Chama, NM and southwest of Antonito, CO.  The course includes rolling hills, aspen groves, open meadows and spruce/fir forests.

It's not all about the races, though!  The weekend includes tours, a costume contest, ice sculptures and fun for the kids, live music, awards ceremonies and prizes, ski clinics, and a backcountry film festival.

Mark your calendars for the 44th Chama Chile Ski Classic and Winter Fiesta, January 14-16, 2017 over the Martin Luther King Jr. weekend in Chama, NM.  See you there!
